Land Clearing

Take back overgrown acreage and get the land ready to use.

Overview

Land Clearing

Land that goes unmanaged for a few seasons stops being land you can use. Saplings fill the understory, briars close the fence line, and you lose both the sight lines and the ability to walk your own property. By the time it is thick enough to notice, a mower will not touch it.

Southern Solutions clears overgrown property back to ground you can work with — whether that is a few acres of pasture reclaimed from scrub, a fence line reopened, or a building site cleared and ready for a foundation.

Our Approach

How we handle land clearing

1

Scaled to the job

Small residential lots and multi-acre tracts get the same planning, just different equipment.

2

Selective where it matters

Mature hardwoods, specimen trees and buffer strips stay if you want them. Clearing does not have to mean scraping it flat.

3

Straight answers on debris

How the material leaves the site is decided and priced up front, not discovered halfway through.

Questions

Land Clearing FAQs

Can you clear around trees I want to keep?

Yes, and it is common. Mark what you want kept — or walk the site with us and point it out — and the understory gets taken while the canopy trees stay. This is often what people actually want rather than a bare lot.

What happens to the material you clear?

Depends on the site and what you prefer. Brush can be chipped and spread or hauled off, piled for later, or burned where local rules allow it. Larger timber can be bucked and left or removed. This is settled in the quote.

Do you clear stumps too?

Yes, when the ground needs to be mowed, graded or built on. If the area is going back to pasture or woods, leaving stumps in place is sometimes the cheaper and perfectly reasonable choice — we will say so.

How much land can you clear in a day?

It varies enormously with density, terrain and how wet the ground is. Light brush moves fast; heavy scrub with stumps and slope is much slower. After a site visit you get a realistic range rather than a guess.
