A tree that looked fine last season can turn into a liability fast. Roots lift a driveway, a limb starts leaning over the roof, or a storm splits a trunk and leaves half of it hanging. Once a tree is compromised, the question stops being whether to deal with it and becomes how to bring it down without taking the fence, the power line or the shed with it.
Southern Solutions handles tree work on residential and commercial property, from a single dead pine in a back yard to full lot clearing ahead of construction. Every removal is planned before a saw runs — where the tree falls, what it can reach, and how the debris comes out.
Send a photo and a sentence about the problem. Most of the time we can tell you roughly what is involved before anyone drives out.
Trees near structures come down in controlled sections using ropes and rigging rather than a single felling cut.
Chipper on site means brush leaves with us. You get the yard back, not a debris pile.
If a tree can be saved with pruning instead of removal, that is what gets recommended.
Stump grinding is quoted alongside removal so you can decide. Most customers grind it if they plan to mow, plant or build over the spot — a stump left in place will sprout, attract insects and stay in the way for years.
Yes. Tight removals are done by climbing or lift and taking the tree down in sections, lowering each piece on ropes. Anything touching a service drop or primary line is coordinated with the utility before work begins.
Brush is chipped on site and hauled off. Logs are bucked and removed, or cut to firewood length and stacked on your property if you want to keep them — just say so when we quote.
Yes. Split trunks, hanging limbs and downed trees blocking access are treated as priority work. Call as soon as it is safe to do so and describe what is hanging and what it is over.
